It is my opinion that these organizations limit their operating expenses by not asking for permission. To gather vital information for a database, these firms likely need large groups of users. This in turn may result in a substantial fee, or payment to these users. In this scenario, a likely challenge for these firms centers around what would be a fair payout for the use of information that will be provided. This dilemma, and avoiding the added expenses is likely why these organizations are against asking for permission. I believe that firms who profit from users should request permission to acquire and sell the data. what do you think
