It's a well-known fact that working conditions in some clothing factories in some parts of Asia are poor. Yet most of the clothes we buy here in Canada are made not in our own country, but in Asia. In other words, we would appear to be supporting the poor working conditions in Asia. How do clothing retailers that sell made-in-Asia clothing get around being held accountable for business ethics? How do you and I get around being held accountable for our personal ethics around cheap clothing?
