$-$ I've chosen to go with Hospice of Michigan $($HOM$),$ HOM is a not$-$for$-$profit organization. HOM is the largest not$-$for$-$profit hospice provider in Michigan. During a presentation provided by HOM, they mentioned how they aren't for$-$profit healthcare, they can keep their doors open and business thriving by having an investor board that provides an X amount, donors, fundraising, grants, and patients that are willing to pay out of pocket for their services within the hospice. HOM provides great hospice service to families and loved ones at a price incredibly cheaper than a for$-$profit hospice company. HOM has two offices but is owned by the same board and runs the same way as the main building. The board each has its own offices and makes visits frequently to both offices, the home office is located in Ann Arbor, and the Southfield office is mostly for employees to visit if they need supplies, meetings, handle patient paperwork, and have downtime time in$-$between patients.
