(a) Using High-Low method, prepare the cost formula (cost function) for service costs. (4 marks)

(b) Estimate the total service cost for October using both regression and high-low methods, assuming a least-square regression analysis estimated the total fixed costs to be $7,480 per month and the variable cost to be $3.12 per service. The number of service for October is expected to be 4,000. Comment on the accuracy of your high-low estimates in comparison to the estimate on regression analysis for October.
