He takes delivery of the vehicle and is very happy with his dream car purchase. He cannot wait to tell his wife the good news. The vehicle is placed on a motor plan warranty with Shap Shap Auto Traders and the dealership assures him that they will sort out any issues he may have with the vehicle upon purchase.

By $4$ November, Jannie notices that the engine light keeps flashing. He calls the dealership, Shap Shap Auto Traders, and tells them that the engine light is flashing. The dealership tells Jannie to bring the vehicle into their shop for an inspection.

On $8$ November, Jannie receives his vehicle back from the dealership and is told that there is no issue with the vehicle. Jannie decides to embark on a work$-$related road trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town.

On $10$ November, halfway to Cape Town, Jannie$$s car seizes up and the vehicle stops working. He is left on the side of the road stranded. Unexpectedly, an engine fire starts and the car bursts into flames. The car is totally destroyed and Jannie feels that he was lied to by Shap Shap Auto Traders and sold a faulty vehicle that was unsafe to drive.
