6) Our design parameters After showing the general information of the system and parts that have been used previously in other systems, we will talk about our own design. Starting with structure, high-durability steel will be use as to attach the solar panels on it. High- durability steel has been chosen since it is better than Aluminium, as table.1 show below the mechanical properties for each, in addition high-durability steel will cost less, the steel will be coated in order to avoid corrosion. After assembling the steel structure, it will be fixed on a buoys so it can float. A buoy is a foamed component where hydrocarbon gas in injected into polystyrene, so that the volume of the gas will be the higher percentage inside, that will cause the component to have a high buoyancy and can carry the load. Furthermore, figure.14 providing a simple basic drawing for our design.
