Jill Baxter was an employee at RS Inventory Specialists. She became ill while on vacation with acute sinusitis, bronchitis, and an ear infection. She was prescribed an antibiotic by a physician, who indicated she should not fly on an airplane due to the danger it posed to her eardrum. Baxter did not advise her company of the situation until the day before her planned return date and did not give them the details of her diagnosis.
