John Dlamini, the chief audit executive $($CAE$)$ of Extra Ltd needs to appoint additional staff in

the internal audit activity. John is currently reviewing some of the applicants. He received the

following summary of the applicants from the Human Resources Department.

$1.$ Rosina Ndlovu

Rosina has a B Comm Financial Management degree. She has three years of experience

as an internal auditor at Read$-$it Ltd$.$ Rosina is very thorough and she is an independent

thinker. Background checks revealed that Rosina can be very aggressive in her approach

to people.

$2.$ Bheki Khumalo

Bheki has no formal qualifications. She has more than $20$ years of internal audit

experience. Bheki is very confident in herself to the extent that she does not value the

opinion of others. She is only willing to take up a management role and will not settle for a

lower position.

$3.$ Sam Mlu

A qualified debtors and creditors clerk who had been responsible for all functions relating

to debtors and creditors in the finance department of Extra Ltd$.$ Sam has worked in the

finance department for more than $10$ years and he is very well known by the staff. He is

very friendly and popular with all. If Sam can transfer to the internal audit department he is

willing to start studying towards an internal audit qualification.

$4.$ Britney Naidoo

Britney has no formal qualification but is in her final year of completing her Diploma in

Internal Auditing. Britney has been working for the past eight years as a senior internal

auditor at Extra Ltd$.$ She is regarded as a very hard worker and responsible individual.

Britney has served on the risk committee at Read$-$it for three years and made a quiet but

meaningful contribution.

$5.$ Ryan Roux

Ryan is currently not employed as he is not sure what he wants to do with his life. His

father is a friend of John Dlamini the CAE and submitted the CV on Ryan$$s behalf. The

friend requested John to appoint his son in a junior position as a favour. Ryan finished

matric last year and on his social media profile he is portrayed as a party animal and very

popular around his friends.

$6.$ Stacy Storm

Stacy completed her degree in Internal Auditing and is currently enrolled on a part time

basis for her Honours degree in Internal Auditing. She currently has no work experience.

Stacy is willing to start on a lower level and work her way up to a management position

over time. She is a hard worker and very friendly.
