Jonni & Bob engage in an impromptu race on an interstate highway. Remaining abreast of one another while driving between 95& 100 MPH, they come over a hill to see that there was a car in Jonni's path, operating at the speed limit. Jonni jams on the brakes but loses control of his car and rams the car in his lane. Bob sees this and is able to slow down, then stop his car without hitting either of the two cars. Bob calls for medical help and for the police. The victims in the car that Jonni hit sue Jonni for damages. They also sue Bob, who files a motion to dismiss on the grounds that since he did not hit their automobile, he should not be liable for damages. How will a court likely rule?
