1. Journal Entry: You Gotta Have Friends.
   1. Write your name in the center of a piece of paper and the names of individuals in your social support network around your name. Space the other support system names based on how close or deep their connection to you. Individuals who are close to you will be closer to your name; those who are not as close will be spaced farther away. The connections between specific individuals can be denoted by the width of the line used to connect the central bubble to other bubbles. Include many sources of supportfamily, friends, roommates, classmates, faith community members, faculty members, and co-workers.
   2. Evaluate whom you would go to deal with different problems.
   3. Then, consider the types of support your network can provide. Reflect on this network and list changes, if any, you would like to make in your social support.
