Joyce, an entrepreneurial business student, decides to use her artistic talent to make toys at home and sell them on the internet to make extra money. The stuffed dolls are especially appealing because the eyes are made of real glass marbles. Three-year-old Sarah receives one of these dolls for her birthday, and is captivated by the shiny marble eyes. Unfortunately, a month later, the glue holding the marbles on the doll's face comes loose, and she puts in in her mouth and swallows it. She is rushed to the hospital, where the staff had to pump her stomach. Sarah's mom feels that Joyce, as the manufacturer, should be regulated by a federal agency.
