Jurisdiction: Fiji (Pacific Island Regions)

This is a plan for the assignment which requires:

1. Abstract

2. Outline

Your outline/plan should indicate a clear introduction. Your outline/plan should indicate a clear conclusion. Your outline/plan should include proposed section headings and sub-headings. Your outline/plan should be logical - structures to show a clear flow/progression of your argument. Your outline/plan should indicate where critical analysis (taking into account conflicting views) will occur. Your outline/plan should be expressed in clear language.

Choose one piece of legislation from your FIJI (or another country in the pacificregion) that does not work well according to recent reports/evidence (2020-2022). Briefly identify the strengths and weaknesses of your chosen piece of legislation using Guy Powles' Minimum Standards referred to in your Course Topic Notes and associated readings. Your paper will identify and consider key strategies for strengthening your chosen law and explain why your proposed strategies will be effective at addressing the problems you have identified. You must use relevant citations and references. Your identification of key strategies for improvement must also make reference to one or more of the approaches to strengthening law discussed in topics 8 - 11.
