Facts
Alexandra Morris and Derrick Carlson were married in Ocean City, Maryland in 2015. At the time, Alexandra was an 18-year-old recent high school graduate and Derrick was a 36-year-old software engineer. After their marriage, they made their home together in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where they both still reside.Although Alexandra and Derrick were initially happy living as husband and wife, over time they have grown apart.
Two weeks ago, Alexandra moved out of the marital home to an apartment in Gaithersburg. Alexandra said that Derrick was shocked when she told him she was leaving, and that he's asked her to reconsider and try counseling. She also reports that she thinks Derrick has been faithful and that there is no history of domestic violence.
