With rotor terminals short- circuited, find the followings: a. Value of R3 at rated conditions. b. Starting current when started directed on full voltage. c. Starting torque. d. Full-load slip. e. Full-load current. f. Full-load power factor. g. Full-load torque. h. Motor efficiency at full load. i. Slip at which maximum torque is developed. j. Maximum torque developed. k. Draw the torque-speed characteristics of the induction motor. Show on your drawing the followings: starting, maximum & full rated torques with their corresponding slips.
