Katherine wants to quit her job as a grocery store clerk and become a romance novelist. Her aunt, Ethel, loves reading Katherine's draft novels and wants to support her career change. Ethel offers to let Katherine live in her extra bedroom indefinitely and buy her groceries as long as she continues to write romance novels. Katherine quits her job and moves in. She lives with Ethel and write four novels, none of which were published, but Ethel enjoyed each of them. Ethel dies without a will. Her son, Bart, inherits her estate and plans to sell all her house and belongings and use the cash to buy a boat. What, if anything, can Katherine do?
