Kayla is a legal secretary for the law firm of Donovan and Smith in Barbados. As part of her job, the firm requires her to visit various places to deliver documents to defendants. Kayla goes to Baron Motors' car dealership and delivers some documents to Devin, the sales manager, who is being sued by Donovan and Smith. Baron Motors posts a sign behind the sales counter stating that it "does not accept liability for injuries suffered on the premises however caused." However, the sign is not prominent and staff do not call it to customers' attention. Devin becomes angry with the content of the documents and chased Kayla through the dealership, shouting at her and waving his arms. Devin catches up with Kayla at the door of her car and prevents her from getting in the car and leaving, shouting that he will call the police to have her arrested. After a few minutes of shouting, the dealership owner, Sarah, pulls Devin away from Kayla's car and Kayla leaves.
