Kindly review the below case. It is the same case we used for topic 3. However, you will analyze this case from topics 7 & 8's perspective. There are ten questions related to the case for 6 points each for a total of 60. You will have three attempts to answer the multi choice questions.

Cindy Marshall was transferred by the company HQ to their Kansas City branch to manage a customer service unit and replace her predecessor, Bill Howard, who was too authoritarian and rigid. Howard would be moved to another job, but the company has asked him to stay on for a week to help her get oriented. Employees in that division were still loyal to Howard, as he had hired most of them. Upon her arrival, following a frosty acknowledgment from Susan, the executive assistant, Cindy walks into her new office and sees Howard behind the desk in a conversation with three other staff members. Cindy says hello, and Howard responds by saying, "Didn't the secretary tell you that we're in a meeting right now? If you will wait outside, I'll be able to see you in about an hour". Marshall: (smiling) Maybe, this is just the traditional initiation ritual in this department, Bill, but let me ask you a question. If one of our customers came through the door right now, would you ask her to wait outside for an hour? Howard: If she just came barging in like you did, sure. Cindy Marshall realizes that she is in the glare of the spotlight and the audience, who will be her future subordinates, is eagerly awaiting her response.
