Q2. Lee started a private tutoring business on 15 July 2021 specialising in GCSE and A Level accounting and maths. He depositing his 20,000 lottery winnings into a business bank account. During July 2021 he had the following transactions: . Transferred 1,000 from the bank account into petty cash. Paid 200 from the bank account for a months' rent on an office. Bought a new laptop from Laptops R Us on credit for 2,000. Withdrew 200 for personal use from the petty cash. Purchased stationery items paying from the bank account for 240. Invoiced Mr Perry for a month's tutoring services for his daughter 150 paid in cash. Invoiced Mr Walters for an accountancy presentation to his employees on credit for 2,000. Paid the mobile telephone bill for the month from the bank account for 35. Paid the electricity bill from the bank account for 50. Paid Laptops R Us 2,000 using online banking. Received 500 from Mr Walters as a part payment of his account by direct credit transfer into Lee's bank account Required: Complete Lee's ledger accounts for the month of July 2021 and balance off the accounts, clearly showing the balance brought down at the 15 August 2021.
