Kip Company has the following accounts on its balance sheet. Compute cash and cash equivalents. Cash $20,000 Government Notes 5,000 Accounts Receivable 30,000 I know cash and government notes are considered cash, and maybe accounts receivable is a cas equivalent. To compute it, would I subtract the 30,000 from the other two accounts to come up with -$5,000? Or would accounts receivable not even be considered? Thanks for helping if you can
