Klubo is Liberian. She filed an application for asylum five years ago because she was subjected to female genital circumcision at the age of seven and has vivid memories of the procedure that she endured. Since then, Klubo has suffered various mental and physical difficulties that she attributes to her circumcision. At the time she filed her application for asylum, Klubo's three children were in Liberia, living with relatives. They were aged 17, 16, and 12 at the time she filed her asylum application. Her asylum hearing will be next week.

If Klubo is granted asylum, will she have any challenges with applying for her children to join her because of their current ages? If so, is there any way for her to overcome them?
