He is unsure whether he should operate as a sole proprietor, incorporate a company in which he will be the sole director; or operate in partnership with a former school friend.

Additionally, he is unsure whether to operate the business in Jamaica, Trinidad or Barbados. Kwame has decided that wherever he decides to locate he will employ staff from that jurisdiction.

In a letter to Kwame advising him of the best structure and place to establish his business. Also advise him of the direct taxes and indirect taxes that he will need to consider in each jurisdiction, all the tax filing obligations he needs to consider, the powers of the revenue authorities, and his responsibility as a taxpayer in that country.

All jurisdictions must be considered, and you must state decisively one structure and one place where Kwame should operate his business.
