l for Amana Appliances, now owned by Whirlpool.I moved to a Shipping Manager role and then RDC Manager which are roles now described as Operation Managers. I performed many tasks we studied in these chapters, with the exception of Quality Control and Six Sigma processes.

Supply Chain Manager seems to be a role with less work life balance. I reviewed the job description began thinking along the lines of Target and their seemingly Goliath Supply Chain. Processes include planning clothing and many other items found online and in store, collaborating with vendors/suppliers, purchasing, and following the merchandise from vendor, to RDC ,to store, and into the guests hands.

I was curious to see the other supply chain management and operations management jobs. I had never heard of a Slot Operations Manager, which could be interesting. I am not too savvy with computers so I ruled out all the IT and network jobs. I am applying for an Elections Operations Manager for my county. This entails much coordination and data analysis but it seems like something I would love to try, though it is not my forte. I have been in manufacturing and supply chain for approx 40 years and am always learning and growing and helping others see their potential.
