Landon owns a shop which sells new and used hockey equipment.Trade-ins of lightly used equipment for credit at the store are also accepted. Mark is a top salesman known for his hard work ethic, brings in significant sales and helps the countless customers with their "trade ins" independently. Mark has been told by Landon not to accept "trade ins" for equipment over $1000 credit without running it by him first so he can take a look and assess its value. Mark has accepted several "trade ins" from customers above $1000 to bring in a big sale.Landon has been aware of this and generally allowed because Landon is generally too busy running the business. Landon has reminded Mark once of the limit of $1,000 on trade-ins. Landon suffered a hockey injury playing with his buddies. He therefore had to leave Landon in charge of the store while he was off work for a month.During Landon's absence, a customer, Cole, told Mark that he wanted to trade in all his gear for a value of $2,000 and then wanted to use the credit to buy $3,000 worth of rock climbing gear from the store. Mark accepted the trade. When Landon heard about the transaction he immediately Cole to return the rock climbing gear.Cole refused. Landon is now considering legal action against Mark.
