4. Andy and Beatrice have been married for 15 years. Throughout their marriage, Andy had been very abusive towards Beatrice. Upon discovering that Andy had been having an affair with Chloe, Beatrice confronted Andy. During a very tearful argument, Beatrice said to Andy "I will kill you if you don't break up with Chloe". Andy then said to Beatrice, "you wouldn't because you're a good for nothing coward". An hour later, still in anger about the affair and what Andy said to her, Beatrice picked up a candlestick and hit Andy on the head several times with it, intending only to cause him serious harm.
