Week	Journal Entry Directions
1	Create a title page for your notebook that includes your name as well as any other pertinent information you feel is appropriate. Enter "Week 1" as the page title at the top. In the body of your journal entry, list your individual learning objectives for the course and explain why they are important to you. Additionally, discuss how and why businesses use their workforce to gain a competitive advantage.
2	At the top of this page, type "Week 2." You studied management history this past week. Describe how management has changed over time using references from your textbook.
3	Week 3 is the page's title (repeat for the following weeks). Describe how management is impacted by environmental restrictions. Why is understanding the environment crucial for management at all levels?
4	Talk about what it means to you to be an ethical manager. How will you, as a manager, make sure your company upholds its commitment to social responsibility?
5	SWOT analyses are performed on organisations that you have been affiliated with, either in the present or in the past. To introduce each component of your analysis, use a cited definition for each of the four SWOT factors.
6	Create an organisational chart for a company you currently work for or are familiar with. If available, think about using MS Word/Insert/Smart Art for your organising framework.
7	Describe how the trade laws and agreements that control how businesses operate internationally have an impact on global business.
8	Describe the human resource management methods you would like to see implemented in your organisation or one with which you have previously been affiliated. Be sure to reference readings in your plan justification.
9	Describe the benefits and drawbacks of working in teams. Include instructions on how to identify training needs and how to choose the best training style..
10	Describe the fundamental guidelines and procedures that can be utilised to manage diversity at work.
11	Explain how employees' views of fairness impact motivation using the equity theory.
12	Describe the effective management of interpersonal and organisational communications by managers.
13	Describe the several techniques managers might employ to keep organisational control.

For each week's submission, you must include at least one cited source from the course materials, the textbook, or another source you used to support your weekly entry. The referenced source must be prepared in APA citation style and added to a reference list in APA style at the conclusion of the publication.
