Leslie Norman was the manager of Century Automotive. Destiny Broussard brought her car to the shop to replace the brake pads. Norman provided a service order with the estimated cost. When Broussard later returned to pick up her car, Norman collected payment. However, when Broussard drove away, the car continued to shutter when the brakes were applied as if they had not been replaced. When she complained to Century Automotive's corporate office, it was determined that the brakes had not been installed and Norman had pocketed the payment.
