Let us say the Canadian government takes to heart the student's complaints about what happened during the COVID-19 pandemic (the universities moved most classes online to be taught remotely via Zoom but did not reduce the tuition as many people argued the universities should have) and passes a regulation that prohibits a university to have more than 3% of their classes online. How would that regulation influence the elasticity of the demand for university instructors (i.e., would it make the demand more or less elastic [or maybe, it will have no effect?]).
