On a vehicle, these activities are typically outlined in the vehicle's "Owner's Manual" and include things like: checking tire pressure, rotating tires, checking oil level, changing oil at recommended intervals, etc. Some people choose to do this work themselves, while others take their vehicle to a mechanic for service.
