Linear algebra is one of the most widely used branches of mathematics in the world! "It has applications in many areas of mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, engineering, statistics, economics, finance, psychology, and sociology. The text chapters are filled with many different applications. Therefore, in this project you will be asked to do the following:

1. Select a topic and investigate it further in other texts and the internet. Summarize the problem. Problems should be based on some mathematical "model" (that is, a solvable mathematical representation, for example, algebraic or differential equations.).
3. Work out the problem; offer a solution and answers, as well as possible coding solutions in Matlab or a similar software tool. A primary objective of this project is to demonstrate knowledge of the topic (and linear algebra!) and the use of some software tool to assist in the solution of the problem.

3. Write (or type) the results in a paper (at least 4-5 pages) The paper should have at least these sections:

1. Introduction (Overview and statement of the problem Background (Mathematical model and application details)
2. Solution of basic (application) problem
3. Generalization (or parameterization) with "computer" solution (Matlab, etc. (For example, a general software program to provide a solutions for various inputs; or representing coefficients as symbols instead of values.)
4. Conclusion and summary of methods and results. (For example, the "executive summary".)
