Open the query text window via the New Query Tool.
New Query
Add /**/ Comments to your script to include your Name, class, and Assignment Name.
Create the following SQL queries using Select in the query window. Comment each step in the script.
Select all data from the Products Table
Using the Products Table, create a summary query:
For each Category ID, sum the price and label the summation as "Total Value"
Do the same as Step B but only display totals greater than 2000.(Hint: This requires the "having" statement)
Do the same as Step C but replace the CategoryID with CategoryName.
This query needs to join the Category table.
Run your created script.
Save the displayed results (partial data OK) in a Screen shot.
Save the SqlQuery using SSMS into as a .sql file.
