Looking at GACE Task 2 and understanding that you are to work with colleagues to facilitate their understanding and all work together to accomplish a research project, it is instructive to think through some important questions that must be considered when planning an action research project. Perhaps you have completed action research projects in the past or would like to start one with your students. Think through and answer the following questions, based on your past experience and/or desire to complete an action research project, along with the information provided in the readings. a. What would be your research question? b. Explain why you are interested in examining this question? c. What multiple forms of data would you collect? d. How would you collect the various forms of data? e. What processes would you use to analyze these data? f. What do you think the best way to present your data to others would be? g. How will know if the results of your research impacted student learning? This is important and required in a GACE Assessment
