Looking for a simple reply to this post, There was a time in the apprenticeship I was a part of that my management had no regard for how the team members he was working with felt. Im not one to say you need to cater to everyone, however, when everyone is bringing up the same concern about how we as a team are being handled, theres a problem. During my time there we had issues with the supervisor who would constantly contradict what he was saying. We brought up numerous times that we needed more direction and more notice on when we were rotating venues, days off cause of holidays but it still saying we work on our schedules, etc. We, as a group, had multiple conversations about it. This Supervisor did not think he did anything wrong. We tried and tried to have conversations with him about what was going on and that we were truly having issues and he did not care. he could have done things differently by noticing the trend to how he was acting. If it was a one-off time, Id understand but this was all the time. This supervisor did not know how to handle difficult team members?
