Lorenzo is a creative soul. In the past few years, he has written a fiction novel about a Detective called Taylor Styles, however, he is yet to have his novel published. He is now working on a second novel involving Detective Taylor Styles in the hope that having a sequel will help him get published.

He is also good at drawing, so he has created a logo to help his readers identify his crime thriller fiction novels. The log involves the letters TS with a detective cap surrounded by a magnifying glass. He thinks his logo will help distinguish him from other detective fiction writers who are not as good at branding themselves. Lorenzo is worried that because he has not yet published his book (with the logo on the cover) he may be at risk. Does he have any ways of protecting his creativity?

 
In his spare time, Lorenzo has also been working on creating a new inventive product that he thinks will be an instant hit. He wants to establish a company. He has created a scented candle that burns and melts into wax. The wav can then be refrigerated and used as a lip balm. Lorenzo is keen to get some advice on whether he can protect his invention. He also wants to know whether he can market the product in a similar way to the famous candle maker CandleCo because he thinks customers might associate his product with CandleCo and thus be more likely to purchase it.
