Lori works at Microsoft. She is 42 years old, identifies as a single woman and parent to an autistic child. This is what the company sent to the employees:

REDMOND, Wash. Microsoft announced that it will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all workers returning to the office starting in September, according to a statement from the company.

The guidance applies to all employees, vendors and guests entering Microsoft buildings in the U.S.

The company also said that the earliest date for the full opening of U.S. offices will be no earlier than Oct. 4.

Lori is already vaccinated and reports to the Microsoft campus on October 5th for work. She is given a purple lanyard with a plastic holder for her identification. On October 20, Lori's child does not feel well but Lori goes to work anyways. At the entrance she discloses that her child is sick. Her child tests positive for COVID-19. Lori request to work remotely. Her request was denied by her supervisor. Upon her return, she is given a red lanyard. Not seeing any of her colleagues wearing that color, she asks a friend if she knew why there were different colors. Her friend indicated that the red lanyard indicates exposure to COVID. Lori only told her immediate supervisor and was not happy that this private information was revealed. Co-workers started treating her differently, shunning and starring at her. No one sat near her in the employee cafeteria, or during team meetings, walked as far away from her as possible, and declined to ride in the elevator with her. She was also passed over for available overtime work. Lori complained to her supervisor and she told Lori "You are imagining things". Nevertheless, co-workers complain about Lori's work product and she is terminated. From this scenario describe what types of discrimination may exist.
