Lucinda is 35-year-old Aboriginal woman. She has a 12-year-old son Tom. Lucinda is in a relationship with the child's father, his name is Adam. The family live in a rented house that has not been very well maintained. The roof leaks and the front security door will not lock. Lucinda has asked the real estate agency to fix these issues many times, but nothing has been done. Lucinda thought Tom would like to have his aunt and cousins in the home however he constantly argues with his cousins and will often walk out of the house when this occurs. Lucinda is finding it difficult to pay for all the expenses. Other members of Lucinda's family will also often ask for financial assistance. Last month Lucinda was not able to pay her rent on time and her utility bills are also overdue. She is very worried her rental agent will ask her to vacate the house.
