M5 Information Systems -- Due Week 14

Information systems are all around you. Consider an employer...current or past...or, if necessary, an organization with whom you are affiliated. Describe an information system you used in terms of the three building blocks (Knowledge, Process and Communication) and from the perspectives of a system owner, a system user, and a system designer.

It is quite possible that you won't personally know the people associated with each of these functions, but from the material you have studied so far, and your knowledge of that organization, give this your best shot!

Please submit this paper as an attachment in a document (DOC, PDF, or RTF format, to accommodate the formatting requirements.

This paper should be between 3 to 5 pages in length. Your paper's formatting should conform to the format of a standard research paper. If you do not have citations, that means the following:

Times Roman or Courier type face

One inch margins all around

Double-spaced text

Page number header (flush right with your name and page number only)

If you do use any outside material (including the textbook) make sure that you cite it properly.
