Madush, an Ayurvedic drug producer in Makandura, published advertisements in number of local newspapers stating that he would pay Rs.1 million to anyone who caught 'flue after using his 'Sada-Suvaya' a new herbal tea as directed for 7 days. He had deposited Rs. 10 million at the Bank of Salli-Salli to meet the possible claims.

Ms. Malee bought 10 sachets of Sada-Suvaya, used one each per day as directed. However, she caught flu. Ms. Malee claimed the Rs. 1 million reward but she was refused. Now she wishes to take legal action against Madush.
