Develop an overall maintenance plan by performing the following tasks. Provide references if any. a) Name 4 performance indicators and targets for the maintenance department/section. (4) b) Provide an expected demand or operating pattern for the chosen system for the next financial year, or other period (month, week, day) if more applicable (provide a graph). (5) c) Do a breakdown of the selected system to the component level. An indented list can be used. A detailed breakdown is not required but at the lowest level, you should have 10-15 components that will require some maintenance (adjust, inspect, repair or replacement) during the life of the system. Refer slide 23 of Theme 3. (10) d) Select at least 12 items or components from the system breakdown structure and define a suitable maintenance tactic for each (TBM, CBM, OTF, FFT). Also give a description of the actual task to be performed.
