1. Make a comprehensive argument in favor of a new right that you believe should be protected by the Supreme Court.
2. Refer to the Fourteenth Amendment in your argument, as well as any other relevant provision, or the Supreme Court's interpretation of that provision, in the Bill of Rights.
3. Be sure to include what level of scrutiny you feel the Supreme Court should apply to your issue, and WHY. Levels of scrutiny are the rational basis test, intermediate scrutiny, and strict scrutiny (refer to section 5.1 of your textbook for a detailed explanation of the levels of scrutiny).
