Malia and Berkley are freshmen roommates at the University of Chucktown. For finals week, their mothers have each baked them a dozen cupcakes. The roommates have pooled together the cupcakes, leaving them with 24. Each roommate must choose between eating one cupcake or two tonight while studying for their economics final. Their payoffs will be measured in smiles (which are units of happiness), and are determined by the number of cupcakes each consumes and the number of cupcakes remaining for future study sessions: Each cupcake consumed by either Malia or Berkley increases happiness for that person by 60 smiles Each drop in the number of cupcakes left over reduces happiness of both Malia and Berkley by 20 smiles
