Manufacturing Process involves the steps in which raw materials are transformed into a final product. It describes how things are made beginning from the selection of raw materials (metals, ceramics, composites, etc) and how they are prepared followed by shaping (and machining) heat treatment (if applicable) and assembly of components. The following are a list of products or components for you to chose ONE and form your project assignment. You will form groups as discussed and agreed during class to carry out the project. Start with the performance, cost and weight objectives (and other desired specifications where important) of the product, followed by selection of materials, and explain your reasons for choices made at each step of the manufacturing processes. In your presentation report (slides), also include a brief explanation of the alternative materials and methods/processes to produce the same product. You need only to prepare presentations in the form of slides and submit/upload a copy of the presentation in LMS as instructed in the LMS/in class, and you shall do a physical (in-class) presentation the following week
