Mary has a movie and dinner date in the downtown area of a small town in Eastern Nebraska. As she heads towards the downtown area she knows she will need extended parking, and knows on this night of the week the downtown area is busy. Unfortunately there are only 2 parking garages available and one costs twice as much as the other. She passes the expensive garage first and decides to see how many spaces are available. She notes 5 empty spaces and decides to continue to the cheap parking spot, which is about 10 minutes round trip. In the back of her mind she notes that about 60 cars an hour arrive in the downtown area during the evening. If no cars leave the expensive garage during that time, what is the probability Mary will find no parking and have a ruined date if the cheap garage is full when she gets there? What probability of ruining your date [risk probability] would you tolerate? [If you don't date, you do not have to answer this question!]
