MAT110 Research Project Instructions Research Project (70 points) Due Date: Refer to Course Outline You will lose 10% per day for late submissions. 1) You will turn in a 3-4-page paper which should be written at a college level of sophistication with limited grammatical, spelling, and typing errors. It should be double spaced, with a font size of 12. Every paragraph should begin with an opening sentence that foreshadows what will be accomplished in that paragraph. 2) You will determine what you want to explore and present your intended methodology. Choose a topic that is interesting to you. If you are comparing your sample to a population statistic, you must use a true population statistic that you will document and reference. Your sample size needs to be at least 30. If you are comparing two populations, you need a sample of at least 30 from each population. If you are conducting a multinomial experiment (Goodness of Fit), you will need a minimum of 5 data values in each category.
