Maternity & Parental Leave

* All disability period for birth of a child will be 6 weeks; regardless of birth type

*Maternity & Parental leaves will run concurrent with any disability plans offered Org and/or states

* How will maternity leave be paid for each class?

Class 3: Validated Producers*	100% for 6 weeks	100% for 6 weeks
Class 4: Non-validated Producers	75% for 6 weeks	75% for 6 weeks
Class 5: Inside Sales	75% for 6 weeks	75% for 6 weeks

*Class 3(parental leave only): Monthly: 1st month will be classified as PLO for 100% of earnings being paid in that period (4wks); 2nd month (2wks) -1/2 month will be PLO for 100% of earnings; remainder 100% under regular classification of earnings. Semi-monthly: 3 pay periods paid at 100% of current earnings classified as PLO.

*New pregnancy loss policy defined in the Employee Handbook pg 51

Rebecca is pregnant and is a class 2 employee. She is scheduled via c-section to give birth on July 5^th and her pay period salary is $5,416.67. She is paid semi-monthly on the 15^th and 30th or 31^st, depending on the month. Pay periods include work days from the 1^st to the 15^th and the 16^th to the last day of the month. Example: July 5 would be paid July 15 which includes 10 days paid.

How would her per pay be classified for the maternity and parental periods and how much would she receive each pay period?
