me shorten the following flyer for distribution to the community: In accordance with DA PAM 385-64, DA Pam 700-16, and the CBJTC Garrison Explosives Safety Management Program (ESMP), this year's scheduled annual amnesty day will be Thursday,19 September 2024. Amnesty Day is a secure and confidential process that allows military personnel and civilians to anonymously return any military ammunition or explosives. The collection point will be at the CBJTC Ammunition Supply Point (ASP), across from Building 5763. A Qualified Ammunition Inspector/EOD Technician will be present to accept the amnesty turn-ins. The ASP will not ask any questions, nor will there be any record of who turned in the items, ensuring your safety and security. The Army's A&E Amnesty Program is designed to be non-punitive and understanding. It allows personnel to turn in A&E in their possession (found, forgotten, obtained under questionable conditions, etc.) without fear of repercussion. However, organizations cannot use Amnesty Day to circumvent the normal turn-in procedures for A&E issued. Remember, EVERY day is Amnesty Day in the Florida National Guard. Military small arms ammunition, .50 caliber or less, can be returned at Amnesty Day or in the Amnesty Container located at the ASP. Larger munitions are considered hazardous and should not be moved by untrained personnel
