Overview

As an analyst for a hospital network, you are asked to analyze bandage spending from 25 member hospitals. All the medical supply vendors that are used have agreed to contracted prices, so the hospital network wants to verify that the supplies are being procured for those contracted prices.

Objective

Using the two files provided, determine if hospitals are overpaying for their bandages. If so, which hospitals, which vendors, and which products are varying the furthest from the contracted rates

. Processes

Input both files and combine them into a single stream.

Calculate the contracted purchase price and the variance between the total purchase price and the contracted purchase price.

Identifythe hospitals that are not paying the contracted price.

If hospitals are overpaying, identify the vendors that are charging over the contracted price.

Focusing on the vendor identified in the previous step, identify the products with the highest variance in prices.
