You've asked a person you admire to be your mentor and they declined. What does that mean? Cold calling the offices of people you'd like to work with Preferably in person and then follow-up with some way to add value. . You're obviously not ready to have one yet. B Thank the person for their time and begin searching for a new mentor to approach. Remind the person of your commitment and interest and follow up with them once more. 4 When first engaging a potential mentor, when should you ask for a mentoring relationship? A Right away so they know your intentions. B After you've interviewed them and decided if you like them, Before you bother researching them so you don't waste your time. D After you've done your research and figured out why the mentor is a good match. 5 Where are the best places to look for a mentor? D At your church or faith based organization.
