MGMT8580 - Group Presentation

The purpose of this group presentation is to examine a leadership case study issue and explore how leaders could set out to solve the problem. The presentation team will assume that they are the leaders in this organization, who are setting out to solve the identified problem.

Groups of 4-5. Approx 7 groups. Max 20 min each group.

WRITE what each person would do to address the problem and why they were selected for those action (based on their leadership assessments).

Instructions:

Provide a description of a situation or case study on a major organizational issue in a healthcare organization. You are allowed to use creative license to come up with your scenario.

Outline how your team of leaders (could be formal or informal) will work to solve the issue. How would each individual leader contribute to this plan?

Examples of things to consider:

How would you use your strengths to help fellow colleagues in your team with a major organizational issue you are facing together?

How would you use motivation and reward theories - which ones would you use?

How would you influence behavior?

How would you work to build effective teams?
