Objective:

The objective of this exercise is to provide students with practice in identifying ideal candidates to acquire for a project team, based on a match between role and responsibilities, and skills and motivation.

Project Description:

Quagmire District Hospital is a fictitious, fully accredited health care facility that serves a catchment area of approximately 25,000 residents. Quagmire District Hospital's mission is to provide quality care for acute and chronic in-patients, as well as emergency and ambulatory care.

Quagmire District Hospital has initiated a project to move from paper patient records to an automated patient record system. You have just been hired as the project manager to deliver this project.

Instructions:

  1. Review the requirements in the following Resource Management Plan.
  2. Review the profiles of the employees who have been identified as available to be assigned to this project.
  3. Select the resources that you would prefer to have assigned to your team.
  4. Explain why you selected the resources and what criteria you used.
