MidPoint Proposal and The Final Project Presentation Information Finally, as we are getting close to the halfway point of the course, it is becoming time for each class member to identify the SUBJECT and FOCUS of their final course project. The final project is similar to an independent study, where you are the ability to select any topic (related to human resources), and conduct research. The topic may be of interest to you, or may satisfy a curiosity. Probing and delving into the topic in greater detail, can add to your personal learning. Examples of topics could be the role of HR, work analysis, job descriptions, performance management, employment law, sexual harassment, ADA, FMLA, etc. Due in early May (at the end of the class), students should prepare a PowerPoint presentation consisting of about 10 slides, complete with speakernotes or presenter notes), which summarizes their research project. Students should also cite and reference the sources of their research. By the even of Week Seven, you are to identify the topic of your research. MidPoint Proposal and The Final Project Presentation A student should focus on the subject matter from the text that interested them the most, then develop a PowerPoint presentation. The first slide should be your Introduction slide, the next 10-15 slides should be informational slides, the last slide should be the reference slide (the URLs of the pictures or information for citing or referencing your work). The final project is worth a total of 80 points, 70 from the final presentation and 10 points are associated with this week's Final Project Proposal. The description should be 2 to 3 paragraphs about the subject you are going to develop your PowerPoint Presentation on. The actual final Project Presentation will be due during the final week of the course
